No: 118, 2 May 2023, Press Release Regarding the Joint Action Taken by Türkiye and the U.S. on Freezing the Assets of Two Individuals Affiliated to Terrorist Organizations
Türkiye and the United States decided to take a joint action on freezing the assets of two individuals who have been identified to finance terrorist organizations as a result of the efforts conducted in cooperation with the United States.
Further information can be obtained from the press release issued by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
A similar joint action on freezing the assets of a DEASH related network was also taken on 5 January 2023.
Türkiye will continue to take effective steps on countering terrorism-financing, and cooperate with its international partners on the issue.
